Designed with advanced technologies, the system will revolutionize surgery by enabling learning healthcare research, developing surgical best practices, delivering personalized patient centered care, and improving patient outcomes. At ION Medical Safety we prevent medical errors and save lives.
The PRECISE TECH Corporation, a for profit public benefits corporation, will offer the PRECISE Surgical System™ and ION Life application to surgical facilities at zero cost. Each custom system implementation will include trainings and certifications, clinical pathway franchising and medical malpractice insurance offerings generating hundreds of millions in revenue.

Position is part-time working an average of 10 hours per week. ION Medical Safety is a start-up where team members work for a future benefit, including stock options and potential income compensation with benefits.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective:
The Director of Finance is responsible for maintaining the overall financial health of the organization by ensuring all financial operations activities are executed in a timely manner, including cashflow and income are recorded accurately, as well as disbursements and expenses are recorded and reconciled.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
​

Ensure the financial impact of all business decisions is properly addressed wherever applicable.

Plan, direct and implement strategies that allow the accurate, timely and objective reporting of financial data. Maintain sound internal control systems to protect organization assets.

Hire, train, evaluate and counsel Accounting staff members, when applicable.

Arrange for applicable audits.

Work regularly with C-suite management and Board of Directors to provide regular financial updates.

Prepare reports required by regulatory agencies.

Work in a cooperative and friendly manner with fellow associates. Practice a culture of service in all you do.

Perform any reasonable request as assigned or directed by management
QUALIFICATIONS:

Degree in Accounting or related business field.

Minimum 2 years' experience leading Healthcare Organization Accounting functions.

Knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws and regulations.

Ability to maintain calm and professional demeanor in high-pressure situations.
-
Ability to manage time and provide timely responses to all requests and correspondence.
-
May be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the organization.

Must possess basic computational ability, in order to accurately produce required reports.
-
Focus and maintain attention to multiple tasks in a short time period, and complete work assignments within deadline demands.

Ability to maintain excellent relationships with staff and management.
-
Ability to participate in, and at times lead departmental and/or team meetings.

Understanding of federal and state non-profit accounting requirements and filings. 2 years non-profit accounting or finance experience.
