Dr. Greg Marchand
Dr. Marchand is a performance-driven Senior Executive and Thought Leader with more than 13 years of success spanning hospitals, healthcare, health & wellness, medical devices, and medicine. Leveraging extensive experience in innovative leadership for customer-centric organizations, he is a valuable asset for startup to established companies requiring expert assistance with cost effective issue resolution or patient care quality improvements coupled with cost reductions. His broad areas of expertise include surgery, cost analysis, patient & customer experience, regulatory compliance, teaching, strategy, and facilities operations management.
Throughout his executive career, Dr. Marchand has held leadership positions with organizations including Marchand OBGYN PLLC, Desert Women’s Care, and Arizona Regional Medical Center. In his current role as Surgeon and Inventor of Surgical Techniques with Marchand ObGyn, Dr. Marchand is internationally recognized as a pioneer in the development of laparoscopic techniques and as an expert in minimally invasive surgery. In his role as ObGyn Department Executive Board Member with Arizona Regional Medical Center, Dr. Marchand led the drive to maintain cost effectiveness and coordinated the entire hospital’s successful compliance with historic state codes. Dr. Marchand holds the World Record for Laparoscopic Ovarian Cancer Staging Surgery on the Largest Malignant Tumor, he was the first surgeon in the US to receive Surgeon of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Surgery, and he was awarded the World Record for Largest Uterus Ever Removed Laparoscopically by the Guinness Book of Records.
Dr. Marchand attained his Doctor of Medicine in Obstetrics & Gynecology from Spartan Health Sciences University, and he completed the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. He is a Fellow of the International College of Surgeons, General Surgeons, & Surgical Specialists Inc., a Certified Surgeon of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Surgery, a Certified COEMIG Physician, a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Certified in Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation. As an experienced board member, Dr. Marchand served as a member of the Executive Board with Arizona Regional Medical Center. He has been extensively published in the fields of urogynecology and minimally invasive surgery.
