Designed with Advanced Technologies to revolutionize surgery by improving patient outcomes, enabling learning healthcare research, developing surgical best practices, preventing medical errors, saving lives and advancing medical science.

Our system is delivered to healthcare providers for Zero Cost.  This minimizes the financial impact and decreases healthcare costs.

Doctors

Healthcare providers implement the PRECISE Surgical System™  in their surgical suites by integrating existing technologies and adding new technologies.  It interfaces to diagnostic, analysis and multiple information technologies which are continually monitored and updated as the patient undergoes surgery.  Predictive information is provided alerting the surgical team of any relevant changes.

The PRECISE Surgical System™ monitors instrumentation, actions, materials and other relevant inputs.  It is designed with a system of procedure and authority that oversees all surgical processes maintaining surgical best practices and regulatory compliance.

The system ensures that all EHR, patient history and current medications have been reviewed for accuracy before proceeding to the next step.

Clearance to proceed is given at each surgical step and phase of the patients surgery. Each procedure and action is accompanied with mandatory checklists to avoid human error and oversight.  To prevent medical errors complete accountability and transparency of all surgical processes and procedures are documented and available to all parties.

To operate the PRECISE Surgical System™, team members will be trained and certified. Each team will consist of a provider team leader, surgeon, surgical nurses, PreOp and PostOp nurses.  Training will be accomplished in a clinical surgery simulation center providing the team experience with the system and testing their knowledge to perform their skills.  Simulated life threatening patient events will evaluate the teams ability to maintain patient safety and clinical best practices.

Performing Surgery

Implementing the PRECISE Surgical System™ will provide a cultural transformation capability for your surgical practice.  Each surgical team will have transparent communications and collaborative capabilities. This change will enhance their capability to deliver focused clinical skills resulting in the delivery of patient-centered care.

Our system enables learning health care research by allowing the process of turning health care data investigation into knowledge, translating that knowledge into practice, and creating new data by means of advanced information technology and artificial intelligence.

A major advantage of the PRECISE Surgical System™ is its capability to support the development of surgical best practices.  Surgical team members utilize the artificial intelligence capabilities to enhance or replace existing surgical best practices.

Surgical Clinical Modules

The PRECISE Surgical System™  will focus on all surgery types for acute care hospitals, ambulatory and plastic surgery centers.  Our software as a service (SaaS) platform, will consist of specific surgical clinical modules which are customizable to deliver surgeries with precision and high reliability.

Our first surgical clinical module will be for Pediatric surgeries.  No child that is already facing a serious medical condition should ever be harmed by a preventable surgical medical error.

Surgical errors that can result in harm to a child include:
  • Initiating an unnecessary surgery
  • Failing to perform a necessary surgery
  • Delaying a surgical procedure
  • Failure to obtain informed consent
  • Failing to conduct a thorough patient history
  • Anesthesia errors
  • Medication errors
  • Using an unsanitized operating room or instruments
  • Failing to monitor the patient appropriately
  • Performing a surgery on an incorrect body part
  • Leaving a foreign object inside a patient

Parents with infants or school age children recognize the importance and responsibility in making sure their child is provided with adequate medical care.  In regards to surgery, the risks associated with any procedure can be frightening for the parent.
Many variables can contribute to things going wrong, but surgical errors are often preventable.  Surgical errors can lead to severe and sometimes permanent conditions.  These can change the course of your child's life forever and cause emotional damage for your entire family.

Medical errors occurring after a pediatric surgery include failure to recognize or treat internal bleeding, infection, premature extubation and discharge.
Common pediatric surgical errors occur in surgeries required to correct congenital birth defects impacting the heart, lungs, kidney and liver.  Children suffering from Appendicitis often experience surgical errors from an Appendectomy.  Failure to perform an Appendectomy surgery is also common.

Childhood cancer is another example of pediatric surgical medical errors.  Surgical intervention is often required for childhood cancer however errors during these procedures can cause more harm than good.
Complications of surgical errors in children include:
  • Physical Disfigurement, Paralysis, Nerve Damage, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Organ Damage, Heart Failure, Stroke, Cognitive Impairments, Wrongful Death
School Children
These surgical errors can lead to irreversible damage to a child.  With so many variables to manage in pediatric surgeries it is clear how misdiagnosis, delayed diagnosis and failure to diagnose a child's medical condition exists.  The risks in performing surgery are just too great to not have a system of prevention, transparency and accountability.  For pediatric surgery, the PRECISE Surgical System™ will mitigate these risks.
